Tags are extremely powerful in SparkInfluence as a way to group or aggregate stakeholders together any way you see fit. More than that, our reporting means that you can not only print out a list of all stakeholders assigned to that tag, but retrieve in-depth reports, charts and graphs related to their activity. Sort, segment and rank your stakeholders like never before.
Tagging Your Stakeholders
There are a few ways that you can tag your stakeholders and create new groupings.
Tagging on the Stakeholder Profile
In the header of every stakeholder profile, you’ll find a link to edit tags. Click here and you’ll be able to add or remove tags associated with that Stakeholder.
To add a new tag
Underneath the stakeholder’s photo (or placeholder image), you should see the Tags: area.
Click edit tags to add or remove tags from the stakeholder profile.
To remove a tag, simply click the X next to the text. To add a tag, start typing to prompt a list of tags starting with or containing that letter or word. If you are attempting to create a new tag, simply type the text you want and hit Enter. The tag will be created!
When importing a list of stakeholders
On the Let’s Dive Into the Basics screen within the import process, you will see the option to Add Tag(s) to Stakeholder. Any tags you select here will be added to ALL profiles associated with that import.
When creating/updating an action
On the Let’s Dive Into the Basics screen within the action creation process, you will see the option to Add Tag(s) to Stakeholder. Any tags you select here will be added to ALL stakeholders who complete the action.
When creating/updating a widget
On the Create Widget screen, you will see the option to Add Tag(s) to Stakeholder. Any tags you select here will be added to ALL stakeholders who interact with this widget.
