The Register User action type is a great way to collect information on your stakeholders. Whether with a simple sign-up for your newsletter, a more “Complete Your Profile” type setup or registration for an event, the Register User action type can be deployed in a number of different ways.
Getting Started
As you create your action and starting with the “Let’s Dive Into the Basics” screen, be sure to set a time frame over which your form will be live. Also, be sure to add any tags that you’d like assigned to stakeholders taking this action in the appropriate field.
The “A Few Additional Details” screen will confirm the form fields that will appear (to create/edit fields, see Creating/Editing Custom Fields and Creating/Editing Custom Forms). You can also change the text of the submit button and assign a point value to this action.
Once these settings are confirmed, you’re ready to publish this action and start collecting additional information on new and returning stakeholders.
